Like my Pumpkin Pie Energy Balls, this recipe was born with Raphael, a perfect postpartum snack. AKA when you feel like you only have one hand and are eating like a linebacker. These are nutrient-dense and delicious! And super easy. And they freeze well. Win-win-win-win-win! Mom-win for the win!

All you need is a food processor, the bananas you bought with great intention last week, a few pantry staples, and nap time.

Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients except nuts and chocolate in food processor. Pulse a few times to break up the big chunks, then process on low until a thick paste forms.
  2. Add nuts and chocolate and process a little longer until they are dispersed, but not too finely minced.
  3. Roll into golf-ball sized balls. Cover and refrigerate for up to 10 days, or freeze for a few months. Enjoy right out of the refrigerator!
Recipe Notes

Be sure you are buying organic oats. Yes they are more expensive, but oats contain heavy amounts of herbicides and pesticides that are probably harmful. It's a risk worth more than a few dollars in my book.
